Credit Risk Analyst (6 month contract) Purpose of the Role Undertake various tasks within the SSGM London Credit and Risk Management department, principally in support of the FX business. Major Responsibilities · Production of the daily FX Exception Report. · Monitor Facility & Settlement Limit violations and investigate and resolve credit limit breaches relating to the FX trading. · Using Basel II rating methodology, prepare and process credit approval and risk rating documents for submission to approvers. · Maintain new credit limit approvals within the trading system. · Support the authorization of 3rd Party Accounts for FX dealing. · On a daily basis ensure that the credit database is updated, with new account information. · Complete periodic reconciliation tasks as requested by local and global credit management units. · Ensure Net Assest Values of our funds are recived in a timely manner. Our Requirements · Educated to A level standard or equivalent · Experience in the financial services industry, knowledge of FX market would be helpful, but not essential. Prior financial services operational background/knowledge needed. Prior credit admin/risk experience/knowledge would be strongly preferred. · Analytical ability and a sound judgment for elevation of issues and problem solving. · Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. · Attention to detail. · Ability to demonstrate persistence and see tasks through to their conclusion. Able to self-motivate. · PC skills (Excel, in-depth access database skills and advantage).
