A market-leading organisation based in Kent are currently seeking a Paint Prepper to join their team on a permanent basis to work as an active part of a busy and dynamic team.

Successful candidates will be required to ensure the safe, timely, and varied output from the Paint Shop is upheld; to refinish all major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and other items as required; and to maximize utilisation of preparation area by minimalizing the preparation times.

The main duties of the role are preparing all components for painting in line with your training to meet the production plan, including shot blasting, filling, sealing and cleaning to an acceptable finish ready for painting; taking personal responsibility for maintaining the high standards of process and product quality insuring company standards are met, and to report all faulty or damaged equipment, component and material shortages, and engineering/design engineering issues to the Paint Shop Supervisor.

In order to be considered for the role in question, candidates should have proven experience in a similar environment, preferably as a paint prepper.

This position is based in Kent, and is commutable from Tonbridge, Maidstone, Royal Tunbridge Wells, and other locations within the region.
