Senior account manager required for our Colchester based publishing client due to a recent large investment and is an exciting time to be joining them at this time of growth. As the senior account manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing clients as well as seeking new business. It is imperative for this senior account manager position that you can work on your initiative, are organised, self-motivated and driven to succeed at sales by delivering high-end service to your clients. The ideal person for this role will have worked within publishing and/or advertising an possess excellent communication skills being able to communicate with people on a variety of

The Role

* Managing & maintaining existing accounts

* Developing new business

* Following up all potential leads

* Supporting team manager

* Working to targets

* Responsible for selling new and existing business on a B2B basis

* Maintain the companies excellent advertising revenue and build upon this by speaking with potential new advertisers

* Account management

* Attend exhibitions

* Hours of work are 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays 9-5pm, with one hour for lunch.

The person

* Sales orientated, results driven motivated by hitting targets

* Ideally possess sales experience gained within publishing

* Understanding of media sales

* Ability to work under own initiative

* An enthusiastic approach to winning business.

* Proactive and energetic approach

* Previous telephone sales experience

* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

* Team player
