Qudini is a dynamic Series A level technology start-up company that is backed by Telefonica. We offer an innovative virtual queue management and appointment booking product. A B2B SaaS technology product that is used by restaurants, retailers, events and the health sector in order to revolutionise the customer experience. We work with significant global brands and FTSE100 companies, including O2, Tesco, Specsavers, NatWest and have clients all over the world including: Australia, India, Europe, and USA. Every day our software is used by thousands of staff members who use it to improve the customer experiences for more than 28 million customers a year.

Having completed our Series A investment round we are scaling our team from 30 to 50 people and are looking for top talent to take the company to the next level. Our B2B SaaS Cloud-Software product uses Amazon Web-Servers, with a Java backend

and a front-end written initially in angular JS and moving across to React.

We're looking for talented DevOps engineers to join our growing team based in Shoreditch, London. You'll be continually improving software deployments, monitoring systems, building CI and CD pipelines, and more. This role will suit someone that has previously worked in a DevOps or SRE-related area, and who is now looking to challenge themselves at scale. We strive to offer highly-available services that clients can trust to remain available the vast majority of the time.

Our current infrastructure follows modern principles throughout: autoscaling resources, immutable images, treating servers "as cattle rather than pets", automating as much setup as possible, ensuring infrastructure code is as well

audited and rigorously peer-reviewed as application code, and using centralised logging and monitoring. Our company was very much "cloud-native" from the beginning.

Our newer applications are container-native, being deployed via container orchestration tools. Elastic Container Service from Amazon Web Services is used, and we are strongly considering Kubernetes as Elastic Kubernetes Service matures over the next year. You will be key in directing this transition.

A strong understanding of Linux, AWS, and software-defined networks will be needed, as well as the basics of containers and container-orchestration technology. Many scripts in our infrastructure are written in Python 3.5 onwards, but we're fine with someone with skills in other languages who is willing to learn Python 3.

Terraform and Ansible 2 make up our provisioning tools for infrastructure and servers respectively. We don't expect previous knowledge in those specific technologies, but do want experience in some set of Configuration Management and infrastructure provisioning tools, e.g. Chef, Puppet, and CloudFormation.

To summarise the expected skills and experiences:

* Linux

* Docker

* Some container orchestration experience, e.g. Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker Swarm

Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker Swarm.

* Python 3, or knowledge of another language and the desire to learn Python 3 on

the job.

* Configuration management tools e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Fabric.

* Infrastructure provisioning tools e.g. Terraform or Cloud Formation.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Within our team you will have the opportunity to work within a fast-growing business with significant traction and commercial

success, yet a well maintained start-up outlook to innovation and problem solving. Work from our Shoreditch office within a diverse and dynamic team who know how to work, innovate and have fun and have a flexible working policy.

Create technology that adds true value to the everyday lives of users and customers of some of the world’s largest FTSE100 corporations and beyond. Develop a product that even your friends will use and recognise!

You'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package and the chance to be a integral part of a rapidly growing startup. Regular team drinks, time to attend training and conferences. Be part of the buzzing London technology scene.
