Smart is expanding it's Data Engineering team and we are now actively seeking a contractor to undertake a 6-month contract with us to undertake the following:

Build a data pipeline aggregating data from several sources (10+) (including application databases, google analytics, etc) to pull data into a data warehouse. Consideration must be given to external tools such as Alooma, Fivetran or Stitch in fulfilling this requirement. Budget is available for intelligent use of these services. You will work with our internal Data Science Manager, to construct an appropriate schema that enables our existing and near-future reporting needs. This should open doors for the future application of machine learning to help us make the right product decisions. Ensure the schema or transformation step is resilient to application database schema changes, or makes them easy to accommodate. You will grow and train an internal team at Smart to take over responsibility for the data platform. Smart was founded by experienced finance & technology professionals and has been designed specifically to support UK businesses faced with the challenges of auto enrolment. Our team spent over a year developing & testing the platform whilst also establishing the partnerships necessary to meet regulatory requirements and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience. With thousands of satisfied employers, advisers and employees now using the platform, we know we offer the best workplace pension solution currently available in the UK.
