Financial Trading Systems Provider. London.

£50,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus

A Financial Trading Systems provider is looking to hire a C++ Software Engineer to work on the development of their core trading system.

As the C++ Software Engineer (STL, Linux, SQL) you will be working on the development of new features and new functionality for the core system. You will be working on Linux and will also have an overarching look at the general architecture. You will be someone with a good understanding in C++ and will have a good grasp of the technologies around it. They are also building a new front end in JavaScript so, if you wanted to, you could get exposure to that technology stack. Financial experience is beneficial but not required.

This firm have been running for several years and have built an exceptional trading system used widely in the industry. You will be working with experienced technologists who have considerable experience in the space.

The C++ Software Engineer (STL, Linux, SQL) will need:

Strong background in C++ development - EssentialExperience on a Linux platform - EssentialPast experience working with STL or Boost - High Beneficial Some experience with SQL (ideally Oracle) - BeneficialPlease get in touch with Tom Kemp at Harrington Starr for more information.
