Description:
Job Title: Head of Training Development (IM)

Department: IT and Mobile

Salary: up to £60k + 20% OTB

Location: Chertsey

Days of work: Monday - Friday

Brief

Responsible for strategy and direction of all product and sales training on new handsets and technologies launching within customer channels and SEUK Mobile staff to drive advocacy and sell-out. This includes e-learning initiatives and further involvement in the planning, developing and evaluation of all current and new programmes across all Mobile training and to meet departmental goals and objectives. Development of effective Learning and Development plans which increase individual capability aligned to the client's requirements. Liaise with the senior management making sure that learning solutions are delivered on time and to cost, driving improved business performance.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

* Great understanding and passion for new technology

* Previous experience in conducting learning needs analysis (LNA)

* Experience in creating training content and training delivery

* Strong leadership Skills

* Excellent communication Skills

* Time Management Skills

* Presentation Skills

Main Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

* Day-to-day management of the training operation

* Leading a high performing training management team, liaising/communicating with external vendors

* Managing creation and delivery of best in class development programmes including internal Client product training

* Measuring and evaluating all training, which is delivered for its added value to the business

* Researching and developing a range of training programs that meet the demands of sales staff

* Coverage management and employee journey planning

* Monitoring future changes in technology and how they will impact on the future training requirements

* Preparation of training objectives and budget

* Attending visits to the identified priority retail outlets (frequency will vary in line with the Client's changing priorities)

Requirements

* A recognised training qualification (CIPD qualified, TAP certified) or equivalent

* Technology focused

* Strong leader and communicator

* Results driven

* Stakeholder influence

* E-learning portal management

* Brand ambassador programme implementation

* Excellent planning and organisational abilities

* Attention to detail

* Full driving licence
