About You …..

We are looking for organised and self-motivated candidates who take ownership of their work and are committed to achieving the highest standards through effective teamwork with both their colleagues. Must be able to understand the value of the client process and be able to manage projects to meet the client’s aims and objectives. Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s product and brand strategy, the therapeutic landscape and the competitor environment in order to develop relations with the client and external experts.

Requirements

Account Management

Ensure all roles and responsibilities are clearly defined at the start of the project, and that this information is relayed to all members of the project team and the client.

Involve relevant individuals in team meetings and discussions, to ensure that client business needs are optimally addressed.

Assist in finalising programme activity and budget with client.

Ensure strategic focus of all materials and programs delivered by Darwin Grey, reviewing their content when necessary, to ensure that the client’s needs are being met.

Maintain an overview of programme tactics.

Keep abreast of external issues/events/changes in the external environment, and regularly review their impact upon programmes and client objectives.

Ensure team understanding of client corporate values and personality profiles of individual clients.

Liaise appropriately with all relevant departments, providing information that may assist them in their day-to-day work.

Attend client meetings/conferences as required.

Provide regular status reports to client about ongoing projects.

Ensure knowledge of client personnel and client’s business environment.

Financial Management

Establish and confirm financial arrangements with client and ensure these are adhered to at all times.

Maintain awareness of financial status of accounts at all times and ensure this is accurately reported at business plan meetings as requested by senior managers.

Ensure invoices are dispatched on time and in accordance with the client/project agreement.

Approve all project reconciliations on assigned accounts.

Business Development

Drive internal brainstorming for account expansion and account development planning.

Prepare pitches and proposals for additional business opportunities with existing clients.

Up-selling: identifying additional activities with existing clients that add value to client and Darwin Healthcare.

Cross-selling: networking with the client organization to acquire new projects/accounts outside current spec (could be in conjunction with Business Development team).

Line management of roles up to and including Account Manager

For direct line reports, take responsibility for management of attendance (holiday, sickness, training, off-site meetings, etc.).

Lead and motivate supervised staff to fulfil their potential and assume responsibility and accountability appropriate to their position.

Conduct appraisal interviews and monitor appraisal objectives, recommending training where required.

Participate in interviewing new staff, where appropriate.

Keep accurate written records of all personnel incidents and performance issues.

Requirements

Strong scientific background or science degree Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare agency pref Solid understanding of the healthcare industry Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Flexible and committed approach Great attention to detail, combined with great organisational skills and a passion for accuracy enabling you to juggle multiple workstreams High level of computer literacy, especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Benefits
