£25,000 to £30,000 DOE + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Full Training and Development Package

Science Graduate required for a forward thinking and innovative company who manufacture and supply their products predominantly to the medical industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a growing company who offer a varied role and full training and development.

To apply for the role, you must transfer from a science/technical background. Applicants will ideally have a keen interest in engineering and mechatronics, any relevant experience in these fields will provide a considerable advantage. Candidates with understanding of molecular biology and medical diagnostics are encouraged to apply however this is NOT essential.

The role is varied but will predominantly involve maintenance/servicing/improvement of production equipment (3 Tecan robots, 3 QC-system robots and real time PCR cyclers). You will also be required to maintain and calibrate other production equipment (pipettes, balances etc.) An element of your time will be spent servicing customer equipment which will include but is not limited to; laboratory robots, real time PCR machines and nucleic acid extractors. You will be working within a regulated environment and this role will require good verbal and literacy skills for liaising with suppliers, other branches of the company and report writing.

The Role:

* 70% Maintaining/Servicing/Improving Production Equipment

* 30% Servicing of Customer Equipment

*Working within a regulated environment certified to ISO13485 standards

*Liaising with suppliers to source materials

*Liaising with other departments/branches overseas

The Person:

*Ideally transfer from a relevant science/technical background

*Will ideally show a keen interest in engineering and/or mechatronics

*An understanding of molecular biology and medical diagnostics will be beneficial

*Willing to learn and enthusiastic as FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
