Desktop Support Engineer - City of London - Windows, Server, Exchange, Active Directory, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN - £140/160 per day

A brokerage based in the city is currently looking to hire a talented Desktop Support Engineer with previous financial services experience. The successful candidate will be working as part of the IT team and will be responsible for supporting various systems.

In this role you will be responsible for systems support and co-ordination, assisting in infrastructure projects, relationship management, IT service delivery and training. This is an extremely exciting and varied role where you will get involved in all aspects of IT enabling you to utilise and build on your existing skill-set.

To be considered for the role you will require the following skill-set:

Proven experience - minimum of 3 years

Microsoft Server 2012, with an exposure to 2016.and AD management/configuration

O365 configuration and support

Skype for Business support.

Desktop support for both Windows and Mac

Mobile support for iOS and Blackberry

Standard Office/Adobe/application support

Incident management/Change Management

Contract/license management/renewal
