MarketInvoice, one of the UK’s leading Fintechs, is looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of some of our key client relationships and help scale the business to the next level.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll report to Andrew, one our Sales Managers who has been with the business for over 2 years. He’s really passionate about his team and he has directly worked with some of our most promising junior members including Catherine, Jason and Gaby, really focusing on their development and progression.

You’ll be joining a team of 7 who are responsible for all of our existing client relationships as well as driving new business through referrals and reactivations. The team works really closely together and always sets high standards to consistently over achieve their targets. They also love grabbing a pint on a random Wednesday evening and they also love a good old team bowling night out (although none of them can crack the 100 point mark!).

Requirements

Your new role

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your business acumen by talking directly to decision-makers at growing UK businesses across a range of sectors, while learning about their business models and funding requirements.You’ll help MarketInvoice drive the usage of our funding platform from existing customers while making sure our customers are having the best experience possible.

What you’ll be doing

As an Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to genuinely help entrepreneurs grow their business by selling our solutions to a wide range of UK companies. Our recent partnerships mean that MarketInvoice is entering a very exciting period of accelerated growth. You and your team will closely support this growth by helping the team manage our growing portfolio. You’ll need to be a meticulous, high performing AM to make it happen.

We’re excited for the experience of managing a broad portfolio of customers across different sectors that you’ll bring to the table. You’ll use this along with your excellent people skills to build and maintain key customer relationships. Over time you’ll develop a detailed understanding of our customers’ cash flow needs so you can help and advise them through the funding process.

You’re already a data-driven hard-worker who is passionate about achieving targets and great results. That’s why you’ll be great at upselling and cross selling to your existing customer base and sourcing referral business from these relationships. You’ll do this with the support of your team along with mentoring from your manager to help with your development and career progression.

You’ll put your negotiation expertise to work, holding your own in front of demanding customers and using your great communication/presentation skills to frame MarketInvoice’s solutions in clear and in simple terms. Working closely with our Operations and Risk teams, you’ll assist with ensuring that trades are safe and that customers receive funds and client payments on time.

With competitor landscape and brand training from the outset, you’ll understand how MarketInvoice fits into the wider-ecosystem of SME and enterprise service providers and exactly why our USPs are important in today’s fast-changing business environment. You’ll be a valued member of your own and the wider MarketInvoice team, supporting key initiatives across the business, including collaborating with our Marketing team to communicate with customers.
