Our client is a nationwide coffee and vending service provider, and they are seeking a Service Desk Coordinator to join their team at their offices in Uxbridge. The Service Desk Coordinator will take the lead in dealing with service calls, and will act as the first point of contact for clients with services issues.

The Service Desk Coordinator will need strong communication skills, a positive and friendly telephone manner, be able to work well under pressure and have good organisational skills.

The role is office based, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the installation and servicing of a variety of different coffee and vending machines. They will also be responsible for organising a schedule of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) with a team of engineers and technicians. You will be responsible for:

· Dealing with customer's faults and ordering parts

· Booking service calls with engineers

· Liaising with engineers on service issues and breakdowns

· Arranging installations and uplifts

· General administration duties

· Managing a call from initial contact right through until the fault is resolved

Skills required:

· PC literate with good working knowledge of Word and Excel

· Ability to liaise at all levels both verbally and in writing

· Enthusiastic & pro-active approach to work

The ideal candidate will have worked in a service office environment or alternatively a customer service role. Candidates who've been an engineering supervisor or technical/service manager will also be considered.
