We’re Swoon.

Now to you. We’re on the hunt for a Chief Technology Officer. If you’re looking for anything other than an industry-redefining, throw-every-ounce-of-your-being into it, but highly rewarding opportunity, we suggest you quietly retreat. But if your pulse has just quickened, then you’d better get scrolling.


We’re not going to list out what skills we’re looking for. Or put a bullet on how many years’ experience you should have. Or ask for you to tell us about a time you led a team to do X Y or Z. Why? Because we’re taking it as a given that you can talk the talk and walk the CTO walk. Instead, let’s talk about what we want to do. Where we want Swoon to go. And how we want you to help get us there.

Our whole business is run on technology and we use it to solve three problems endemic in the sector. No more guesswork (tech will help us design our winners). No more stock-piling (tech will predict demand). No failure (tech will eliminate breakdown in our supply chain and achieve true cost optimisation). And with you on board, it’s going to transform retail.

As our CTO, you’re going to be shifting the landscape, forever. That’s the day job.

No biggie. That, and building up our tech for the future. That, and scaling us for international expansion (yep, global change. And if that scares you, this job probably isn’t for you). We’re not after a few new features here and a bit of code there to make the website work (well we are, but presume that’ll be done before your morning flat white). We want you to design, build and develop our own technology to do everything we’ve mentioned. And you’ll have a cool £20m to do it with.
