Description:
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking day-to-day cover supervisors and Long term cover supervisors in Ashford and surrounding areas.

* Ideal for aspiring secondary school teachers

* Work in a range of schools across Ashford & surrounding areas

* Earn from £300-£350 per week and gain experience

Musts:

* Be able to work from 8.30am-15.30pm weekdays

* A child only workforce DBS on the update service or willing to pay for a new child only DBS (£44) and then subscribe to the update service (£13)

* Have a full original birth certificate, full driving licence and/or valid passport.

* If from outside the UK, a right to work VISA.

* Able to provide two proofs of address (Accepted documents attached)

As a cover supervisor your role and responsibilities will include:

* Covering lessons in the absence of the timetabled teacher.

* Supervising the delivery of the cover work by effectively communicating the work set to students.

* Ensuring the required resources needed in order to effectively deliver the covered lessons are available.

* Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking set work to ensure a positive learning environment.

* Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures.

* Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with school policy and procedures.

* Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher

* Reporting back as appropriate, using the school's standard procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising.

These roles would also be very suitable for graduates who are keen to get experience working in schools, or who aspire to become a teacher.
