One of Teaching Personnel's partner schools, based near Hook Green, is currently looking to employ a SATs Intervention Teacher on a part-time basis. The role will be working 4 mornings a week working with Year 2 and Year 6 students to help raise attainment in time for their SATs. The role will start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The school is an academy that is split across two sites that are within very close proximity of each other. The role will take place across both the infant and junior school. The school is easiest to reach via car from central Bexley, Bromley or Kent but there are local public transport links too. There is onsite parking for all staff.

The school was rated Ofsted 'Good' at its most recent inspection (2015). Since this inspection, the school have placed a heavy onus on increasing attainment in core subjects such as, English, Maths and Phonics.

Pupils study a wide range of subjects with a focus on allowing both academic and personal development. The school has good links across the different subjects of the curriculum which is supported by enrichment activities including a variety of educational visits.

There is a positive energy and learning ethos around the school and you will be joining a team of enthusiastic children, inspirational teachers and support staff and supportive parents. Pupils are happy, polite and respectful of each other. There is some challenging behaviour across the school but this is well supported by the team of teaching assistants and effective behaviour policies. Personal development is strong at the school with high-quality training a key priority.
