Our client is a Financial Services firm based in London and winning market share through continued success. The Director is looking to hire an IFA Administrator with previous IFA Admin experience and who enjoys working independently and make the role their own.

You will be based in the heart of the City and enjoy work perks, including a potential bonus of up to 20%!

The main focus of the role is to provide full admin support within a growing department. You will have the opportunity to strengthen existing procedures, with the potential for you to develop your career as Paraplanner in the future.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliant and TCF advice processes followed

• Setting up new clients on the back-office system and ensuring that the system is kept up to date.

• Collecting policy/plan information from Providers for all new plans ready for analysis and updating the system accordingly.

• Preparation of documents for meetings.

• Preparation of forms following on from recommendations.

• Processing of new business.

• Understanding fee reconciliation and assisting where required.

• Obtain client illustrations.

• Where necessary liaise with client, and Adviser during application process.

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge / experience in processing the following types of business is desirable:

Pensions including Pension Transfers, Investments, ISA's, Investment Bonds, Offshore Investment Bonds, WRAPs and Platforms.

• Previous experience of Microsoft Office, FE Analytics and Synaptic product research/fund research desirable.

• MS Office and internet essential.

• Ambition to achieve the CII Award in Financial Administration (depending on experience level and existing exams achieved).

• Record of continuing development and technical learning especially in relation to pensions.
