About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to design, create and lead a Customer Insight function at The Collective. You will be working closely with the Customer Experience and Growth Teams distilling qualitative and quantitative data into usable customer and business insights for use across the entire company.

The primary focus will be supporting service design and marketing efforts, ultimately ensuring we are an insight-led business across all pillars, giving us a market-leading advantage. As Insight Manager, in order to achieve this ambitious goal, you'll be expected to identify what data we need to gather, establish a plan for how to acquire it, and and then interpret the data we've acquired. Finally, you'll also be responsible for sharing that interpreted data across everything we do.



Identify the company’s future research and insight framework (i.e what data we currently capture and what we need to capture) to ensure that the business puts customer understanding and insight at the core of all its activities. Deliver the research and insights framework through a combination of internal and external research and data capture methodologies (involving possible use of external suppliers e.g data management and analytics). Work closely with our Service Designer(s) to provide necessary insight that informs the design of services and experiences of our customers. Support Service Designer(s) and the operations team in establishing and monitoring KPIs in service delivery. Work closely with our Growth team to provide insight to direct customer acquisition, retention and referral campaigns. Work closely with our Product team to ensure all design of our physical spaces is influenced by customer insight. Work across multiple data sources (e.g. sales data, CRM data, Zendesk, workshops, Town Halls) and multiple teams to identify knowledge gaps and proactively create innovative and actionable insight-driven solutions to solve business problems/roadblocks etc. Drive continuous feedback loops between customer insight and teams across the business, ensuring that our product and platform is always improving. Empower the business to make more informed decisions by documenting insights into a centralised knowledge base, and into consumable reports and presentations accessible to all teams. Research, propose and introduce an “on demand” reporting function providing a response to a request for customer insight within an agreed SLA. Map existing customer data collection in the business and work across departments to rationalise the way we collect, store, share and use this data. Understand regulations around data protection and ensure customer data is handled appropriately. Desired Skills:

Good knowledge of data munging, analysis, statistics, and visualisation Good knowledge of working with data in Excel (VBA) and SQL databases Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Looker or Periscope Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis fundamentals Advantageous to have some understanding of data analytics pipelines, data modelling tools and some basic analytical and programming skills Benefits
