Due to a rapid and exciting period of growth, we are looking to recruit an Internal Technical Sales Specialist, to support our sales across Europe. The successful candidate will be a recent graduate in a Scientific discipline who is excited to start their career in Sales; they will be proficient in talking to customers over the phone, sending quotes and qualifying leads.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Managing direct sales with international and UK customers Generating quotes for customers and sales managers Contacting sales leads and qualifying both in a technical and commercial manner Managing and maintaining the sales CRM system and ensuring all details are up to date Ensuring all sales leads are followed up in a professional and timely manner Daily / weekly / monthly sales activity reporting Processing prospect and lead information within Sales CRM Answering incoming prospect enquiries (webshop, phone, email) Providing sales administration support to senior sales managers Assisting with marketing and events activities as and when required Managing demonstration equipment and running demonstrations Coordinating customer training and customer workshops as necessary. Required skills and capabilities:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline (undergraduate degree in Chemistry-related subject desirable) Experience in a similar sales-related role is beneficial but not a requirement; full training will be provided Professional telephone manner Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to conduct presentations in front of technical and non-technical audience Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task Excellent attention to detail Ability to work individually and as part of a team Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications Knowledge of a European language desirable but not essential.
