As Milling or Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator reporting to our Machine Shop Cell Leader, you will be responsible for manufacturing products following specific guidelines, whilst adhering to all Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures. Responsible for the quality of your work and for reporting any non-conformities, you will check drawing numbers, specifications, materials and parts prior to manufacture, ensure the first off inspection is carried out and that all products within the batch conform to requirements.
Requirements
With an ONC / HND in Production Engineering, an equivalent Mechanical Engineering qualification or having served a manufacturing apprenticeship, you are either:
a skilled CNC Machinist. able to program, set and operate our HAAS and Mori Seiki machine tools (MiniMill, VF1, VF2, VF3, NH4 & 5000 DCG HORIZ PALLET) a skilled Turner able to program, set and operate our turning / mill centres, underpinned by experience in sliding head machine operation, Miyano, Haas (SL20 and SL30 and / or Doosan Puma 2500). or
You will also be able to offer an aerospace background combined with excellent programming skills.
