All instructional staff will be involved in the maintenance and inspection of equipment as well as site work. You may also be involved in the operation of vehicles including tractors, quad bikes and trailers.

You will be required to wear a company uniform (provided) and be neatly presented.

Applicants will ideally have experience of supervising groups of children or adults, either on adventurous activities or in a sporting or club setting.

All staff are required to undergo a Disclosure Barring Service disclosure, which if not already held, can be arranged through Stubbers Adventure Centre.

Desirable qualifications include NGB coaching awards in any of Kayaking or Canoeing, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Sailing, Climbing, Archery or Rifle shooting but full training will be provided for applicants who not hold any formal coaching awards.

At Stubbers we believe that everyone, including our team should have the opportunity to have fun, challenge themselves and learn new skills. As part of this we encourage staff to make use of our activity facilities in their spare time and utilise the wealth of experience in the team to develop existing or new skills, or just to unwind after a busy day.

There are also opportunities for working with additional needs groups, adult groups and on team building programmes.

Further to the training provided staff are welcome to take up spare places on National Governing Body courses that take place at the centre.
