Avaya Contact Centre Specialist

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international IT client for an Avaya Contact Centre Specialist to join an existing team providing configuration and technical support for Avaya multi-media contact centre systems and related applications.

Responsibilities

* The Avaya Contact Centre Specialist will have experience completing technical configurations for customers and service changes, across several different Avaya applications.

* Resolving complex multi-system issues on Avaya & Verint applications and some bespoke in house applications

* Communicating with technical teams, third parties, and providing assistance to Project Managers.

* Also creating and updating documentation as appropriate, such as procedures and build documents.

* Regular maintenance activities - manual backups, capacity and performance checking, patching and daily system checks.

* Provide on-call support as part of a rota.

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a similar Contact Centre Specialist role.

* Proven technical capability in supporting Avaya Communication Manager and other Avaya systems

* Comfortable working in a support desk environment.

* Desirable experience includes - troubleshooting applications published over Citrix, IIS/Apache based web apps, server performance, desktop applications, Windows Server and experience within VMWare environments

* Very strong communication skills and analytical investigator
