We are seeking to employ a new developer to work within our small IT team within a growing company on the Temple Farm Industrial Estate in Southend-on-Sea.

The role will see you developing on our claims management system and migrating it over to a web based platform. You will have the ability to demonstrate skills in PHP 5.6 / 7 and JavaScript, preferably with usage in PHP frameworks (such as Laravel / Symfony / CodeIgnitor) and JavaScript frameworks (such as Vue.js / AngularJS).

You will be expected to show strong analytical and problem solving skills and will be happy to run on your own initiative. Good communication skills are a must.

Developing new functionality and architecture Documenting and unit testing Fixing bugs from previously released features Integration of the in-house solution with existing infrastructure and solutions Requirements

Required Experience Experience developing in Object Oriented PHP 5.6 / 7 Experience using frameworks Understanding of the LAMP stack Experience with back-end database systems (e.g. mySQL, mariaDB) Experience using JavaScript frameworks Desirable Experience

Experience working with Linux servers Experience working in Windows desktop/server environments Familiarity with Git Experience using Composer and npm Experience with Unit Testing
