Do you have experience of using Makaton and/or PECs to support children with special educational needs?

If so - we want to hear from you!

A number of primary schools in the borough of Barking & Dagenham are on the search for experienced Teaching Assistants with experience of supporting children with special needs including: ASC, Down Syndrome, ADHD, PMLD, Global Developmental Delay.

If you are familiar with the use of Makaton / PECs to support the teaching & learning of children with SEN - we'd love to hear from you.

The vacancies we are currently working on are to support children of all primary age groups - from Nursery through to Year 6 (11 year olds). The positions are full time (school hours - 8.30am-4pm Monday - Friday) for the term time only.
