Sales Engineer

Uxbridge/ Hayes

Monday to Friday

Circa £27,000 per annum + Performance Related Bonus + Laptop + Phone + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.

Sales Engineer required for an established provider of valve and instrumentation systems and services. This is a great opportunity for a successful Sales Engineer or Service Engineer to drive business within a growing market and receive in depth product training.

The successful candidate will be experienced in internal or external sales within an engineering environment. You will ideally have previous experience in a hands on engineering capacity and the company are also open to Engineers looking to make the step into technical sales. You will be confident in account management, upselling and be self-motivated.

Your role will be primarily focused on account management with some new business development within the Scotland area although you will be based from the company headquarters in London. You will spend approximately 1 week a month spent in Scotland visiting clients. Your role will be to sell a mixture of valves, actuators, flow/pressure instruments and similar products to the oil and gas industry, pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies. You will set up meetings with Engineering Managers and be key to spreading the company’s brand throughout the Scotland area.

This company are well established in their industry and you will receive all product training necessary for the role directly from the Director.

The Role:

* New business development and account management role.

* Setting up and attending meetings with engineering managers and decision makers.

* Covering a Scottish territory.

* Selling bespoke valve systems.

* Manage and negotiate costs ensuring profit margins are maintained.

The Sales Engineer:

* An experienced sales professional within engineering environments or an experienced Engineer looking to get into technical sales.

* Hands on Engineering background highly desired.

* Confident in new business development.

* Computer Literate.
