MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER- PERMANENT - NORTH LONDON- UPTO £57,000 SHIFT PLUS BENEFITS

A leading manufacturing company are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader to work at their site based in North London

As a Maintenance Team Leader you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of multi-disciplined & multi-skilled engineering technicians to ensure operational needs are met. The role will drive a proactive EHS culture, promote the use of Lean methodologies and ensure safety and quality standards are adhered to.

The Maintenance Team Leader will develop and mentor team members to enable them to realise their full potential ensuring there is active engagement in the talent review process. You will co-ordinate effectively available resources and skills within team to meet operational, engineering and maintenance needs and will liaise with Production to reduce downtime of the plant by timely response and feed-back of issues

In order to be considered for this position, candidates will need to have extensive maintenance experience within a high volume manufacturing or process industry environment. Previous leadership/management experience within an engineering team and an Electrical/Instrumentation apprenticeship or HNC/HND is also required. Candidates must have previous experience of within Controls and Instrumentation/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

The position will work on a shift pattern which is 5's & 4's 7am to 7pm 5 on, 4 off.
