Description:
DMW’s Digital Transformation teams help our clients to establish the technology foundations essential for digital transformation, enabling them to innovate, understand customer needs and to deliver value to them continuously. We combine expertise in creating the conditions for successful Agile delivery with a strong technical understanding of the technology needed to enable continuous delivery and DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

Our experienced Digital Transformation consultants drive a mix of cultural and technical change to help clients innovate and deliver software rapidly using the latest tools and techniques:

Agile Delivery Management and Product Management

Lead a team or multiple teams to deliver application and/or infrastructure products using Agile approaches Establish the vision and backlog, prioritising work and ensuring that teams are empowered to deliver high quality results reliably and consistently. Continuous Delivery and DevOps Enablement

Help clients to understand, select and implement the technology foundations for continuous delivery and lean operations Cover a range of components including issue tracking, source control, automated testing, CI/CD and monitoring. Agile Architecture

Help clients to define architectural patterns and processes that allow incremental delivery through Agile teams whilst successfully aligning and integrating with other technology initiatives elsewhere in the organisation. Act as a trusted expert advisor on Agile and DevOps to our clients, helping them to understand, implement and improve the way they deliver software and infrastructure in a collaborative, pragmatic way. Act as a trusted expert advisor on Agile and DevOps to our clients, helping them to understand, implement and improve the way they deliver software and infrastructure in a collaborative, pragmatic way.Requirements

Technical knowledge and experience

Essential:

Experience in Agile project or programme management OR experience as a product owner or product manager OR experience as a technical architect or technical leader in Agile projects.Experience and strong practical knowledge of at least one established Agile methodology, e.g. Scrum. Strong working understanding of Continuous Delivery and the types of tools and practices that underpin it. Strong working understanding of DevOps and the cultural change, tools and practices that underpin it. Desirable:

Certification in an “Agile at Scale” certification, e.g. Scaled Agile Framework, LeSS, Disciplined Agile Delivery, etc.Demonstrable experience helping clients make the transition from waterfall to Agile ways of working. Experience installing, configuring and/or operating DevOps or CI/CD tools. Demonstrable experience identifying opportunities for improvement in development and operations processes using structured techniques, e.g. using Value Stream Mapping. Demonstrable understanding of IT Service Management fundamentals, ideally supported by a recognised qualification e.g. ITIL. Experience and/or involvement in implementing automated quality and release gates, such as automated tests, security scanning and test/staging deployments. Consulting knowledge and experience

Prior experience of delivering complex engagements either as a leader or a senior member of a team; Experience of full delivery life cycle coupled with the ability to deliver significant impact, quickly; Proven ability to develop strong relationships and be able to influence colleagues, senior client stakeholders, partners, suppliers; Demonstrable knowledge of delivery business value to clients through IT. Able to work collaboratively High degree of emotional intelligence and intellectual strength Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Self-starter, with a desire to learn business subjects Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations Strong communication, presentation and business writing skills along with the ability to manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally Benefits
