At Zava we treat thousands of people across Europe who feel let down by the ‘old’ way of doing healthcare - phone calls, paper prescriptions, bureaucracy, waiting and worrying.

We’ve built an online medical platform that connects patients with doctors, pharmacies and test laboratories - providing safe, efficient and non-judgemental care with over 1,5 million treatments delivered in 6 countries and counting.

But this is just the beginning. We’re creating the new role of Chief Commercial Officer, to shape strategy, execute on critical projects, and to develop and grow the Market team; with the overall objective of delivering profitable growth across our brands and locales.

In summary, the Chief Commercial Officer will be critically important for contributing to our hugely ambitious scaling plans. As a result in a short space of time you can expect your; and your team’s; work to make a difference to millions of patients across the world.

Market Leads will report into this position. The Chief Commercial Officer will be a member of the management team. The Chief Commercial Officer will report into the CEO.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES >

Market oversightYou’ll foster a deep understanding of the company vision, and our competitive and market environments in order to help shape market strategies, focused around creating great healthcare experiences for our customers You’ll own the P&L, pricing, categories and market performance You’ll set, track, report on and deliver against ambitious growth targets You’ll identify and prioritise strategic initiatives and ensure successful delivery of those projects (including partnerships, pilots, etc) together with the Market leads You’ll be responsible for the development of market, customer, category and competitor insight You’ll work closely with the Chief Product Officer and Product Owners to ensure roadmaps are aligned with Market and business objectives Build and nurture the teamYou’ll be a natural leader to a team of market specialists You’ll build high performing Market teams across Europe. You’ll coach those teams to success - working in conditions of high uncertainty to set clear strategies for each Market, and inspire them to do great work` Influence the organisationYou’ll navigate a matrix organisation, managing stakeholders and communication cross-functionally You’ll be a confident, competent communicator, able to operate at the highest levels of business You’ll be a thought leader - bringing new ideas to the table, challenging teams to innovate and setting the highest bar for the standard of our execution You’ll act as a leader and as a role model in everything you do As we are a fast growing startup with big plans to extend and adapt our platform, accountabilities may change over time. Changes will be made after consultation with the job holder.

Requirements

We're open to lots of different backgrounds (we’ve got consultants, product managers and growth marketers in our team currently) but you probably need:

10+ years of business experience Proven senior leadership experience (management, communication, strategy, business development) Previous track record of P&L ownership and management Proven track record of successfully executing projects, including partnerships, M&A Demonstrable experience of how your work has directly contributed to the growth of your past businesses Benefits
