Business Systems Support Analyst

An experienced Business Systems Support Analyst is sought by a rapidly growing Lloyds of London managing agency focused on multiple classes within the insurance and underwriting business.

The focus of the Systems Support Analyst will be to manage the operation of the core business systems covering all aspects of the technical environment, including but not limited to underwriting, claims and risk.

In this role you will leverage your technical knowledge and systems support experience as well as your understanding of the insurance and underwriting market to aid the business in achieving it's goals.

Key responsibilities:

- Administration and incident management of core business systems

- Support applications in a production environment

- Work with 3rd party vendors and service providers for external support

- Administer routine maintenance tasks

- Manage application release in accordance with best practice and governance policies

- Take responsibility for documentation of application environments, dataflows and support processes

- Support the IT function across other duties including user support and escalation management

Key Skills:

- SQL database knowledge

- Good knowledge of web server technologies, including IIS.

- Confident scripting skills

- Proven background in maintaining, supporting business focused applications

Highly beneficial:

- Ideally you would have existing knowledge in supporting insurance, risk, actuarial or claims systems

- Knowledge of working with Lloyds syndicates or associated partners

- Experience in Microsoft stack development languages

- Experience in managing/ supporting infrastructure and networks
