CASS compliance is a key focus of the business and we are looking recruit an exceptional Client Money Analyst to join the Cash and Client Money team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Money, this challenging and interesting role involves the performance of the daily client money reconciliations, processing client money transactions, maintenance of the CASS Breach log and preparation of CASS related MI.

Assist with the production and performance of daily client money internal/external reconciliations Assist in the matching of bank entries to cashbook entries within the reconciliation tool Investigate, allocate and ensure the timely resolution of relevant reconciliation exceptions Production of daily client money related MI Maintenance of the CASS breach log Assist in processing client money transactions and resolving complex payment issues Assist in ensuring all client money related processes performed by the team are accurately documented Proactively minimise risk via process improvement recommendations which support the team Monitor and report any changes to CASS rules Build and maintain effective working relationships across the business to ensure timely resolution of issues and communication of relevant information and correspondence Requirements

Strong academics with a relevant finance degree or equivalent Some CASS experience and knowledge of rules would be preferential: but not essential if the candidate possesses other relevant attributes Strong numerical ability with the ability to carry out a range of calculations and provide accurate answers and solutions to maths queries Solid experience working in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and general competence in working with a range of systems and databases Proven track record in accuracy and detail even when working with high volumes and under pressure Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers and third parties, dealing professionally at all times whilst developing effective business relationships
