### What’s the role? ### As an Accounts Manager in a small Digital Agency, you will be working across various company functions - acting as a Client Relationship Manager, a Social Media Manager and a Digital Marketer, among others.

You don’t need a degree or any specific educational qualifications for this role, but you must have some experience (see below).

The role is available right now. We are flexible about having you start as part-time during your training period, should you have other commitments right now.

And did we mention that the role is mostly remote? You can choose to work from home or a co-working space, though you still need to be a London-based candidate - there will be regular team meetings and meetings with our clients.

### What’s A&C? ###

We are a boutique communications agency, specialising in holistic brand management for SMEs and third sector organisations. Our work spans insight, strategy and implementation, creating campaigns attuned to consumer needs across multiple mediums.

At A&C, the type of work we do broadly falls into two categories:

Work we are instructed to do - this is just like all Digital Agencies, whereby we do the work clients’ come to us for. Work that needs doings - This is where we differ from most. We internalise clients’ business goals and work towards delivering them, without prompting. Such work is usually all-encompassing, not just limited to “marketing tasks”. As an Account Manager working on some of our key accounts, you will need to demonstrate that you will be able to do the latter effectively.

### Key tasks ###

Managing Client Relationships - from regular check-ins with the client, to management of clients’ projects. You will also be delivering training to clients, as well creating and delivering reports/presentations to clients. Being the “Internal Client” - You will need to understand clients’ business goals, internalise them and proactively suggest and work on ways to achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of our output meets both our and the client’s standards. Managing Social Media Accounts - Working with our Consultants, you will be managing the Social Media presence of our clients. This will include everything from creating and curating content, managing online communities, and regular competitor analysis. Managing Digital Marketing - As well as managing Social Media accounts, you will help deliver our overall Digital Marketing strategies for clients. This will include helping update website content, managing and running Email Marketing Campaigns and Paid Online advertising. Our Own Marketing - In addition to client work, you will be responsible for our own marketing efforts. This will include everything from blog writing, running our own email marketing and paid digital advertising, as well as organising sales meetings. Requirements

### Who we are looking for ###

We understand that this role is a multi-functional one, something that isn’t suitable for most.

And so, we are looking for the ONE.

Below a long list of skills the ideal candidate should have, BUT don’t worry if you don’t have all the skills….you just need to have at least 5 of the 9 skills!

Please note that when we say ‘experience’, we mean at least 1 year of demonstrable experience. This role is not suitable as a first job...

Skills, competencies and experiences you should have (at least 5 of the 9):

Managing Digital Marketing Campaigns (full stack) Managing multiple Social Media accounts Managing Email Marketing campaigns Experience in delivering high-ROI paid advertising campaigns (on SM and/or Search) Experience in regular blogging, in topics that are not necessarily your interest Proficiency at using (and understanding) Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Wordpress & Joomla Experience in Designing Marketing Materials (for both on-and-off-line mediums) using Adobe’s suite of software Experience in Sales (for agencies like ours) Have professional accreditations or qualifications from CIM, CIPR or Google The job is essentially yours if you:

Have 3 years experience in the same role at another agency### What you are in for ###

Our key clients are news organisations and non-profits. They are the ones that you will spend 90% of your time working with/for.

As far clients go, these are probably the two most demanding sectors.

As such, everything we do has tight budgets - both in terms of money and time! You will be expected to maximise the returns on advertising (at rates much higher than benchmarks), and deliver work fast (most of the time, we mean hours not days).

In addition, while you will be working a full-time 40-hour-week, your hours will be spread over 6 days (thanks to the 24/7 news cycle of the aforementioned clients).

If you’ve not been scared away yet and are still reading this, it’s probably a good sign that you are the candidate we are looking for!

### What you will get ###

Money (obviously)

£22,000 - £28,000, depending on how many of the ideal skills you have.

Time off

Including Bank Holidays, you will get 28 days off each year.

Complete Flexibility

You will manage your own work - so long as the work is getting done on time, no one will ask to see your timecard!

AND you will be working remotely. You can choose to work from home or from a co-working space. You must however be based in London (for regular team meetings and client meetups).

Just to be clear, the flexibility does not extend to competition. If you are a freelancer right now, we would love to consider your application, but you need to be ready to “settle down” - as part of your employment contract, you will need to sign a non-compete clause.

Equity / Share Options

After 24 months of continuous service with us, you will be eligible for share options.

### Next Steps ###

Pop us a quick message saying why you’d be a good fit for us. Do include which 5 of the 9 skills you have If you don’t have an up-to-date CV, don’t worry about creating one. Just tell us your work history in a few bullet points Remember to include a telephone number (ideally mobile). You will be called for a quick phone screening and then invited for an interview
