A secondary special needs school catering to students with autism and challenging behaviour are currently seeking a behaviour support worker to assist students on a 1:1 basis. The school are looking for a passionate individual who is keen on supporting students with autism and has a desire in developing a career in an education setting.

The school is part of a multisite academy and offer a range of opportunities for career progression such as access to specialist training in Team Teach and Safeguarding Level 2 as well as autism awareness training.

The ideal applicant will have:

* Understanding of Autism and Challenging behaviour

* Passionate for supporting students on a 1:1 basis

* Previously supported students in a School Setting/Youth Work setting

* Provide group intervention sessions for students with autism

* Relevant training completed such as Team Teach, Outreach training, Safeguarding, Autism Awareness
