Description:
Why is the role interesting?

You’ll play a lead role in the development of Bulb's expansion strategy and the implementation of key projects

Working directly with the CEO, you'll be joining a team comprised of former top-tier strategy managers

Bulb has grown rapidly to over 250 employees, in just over three years, and has signed up over 900,000 households across the UK, covering over 2% of the domestic market

About the company

Bulb is making energy simpler, cheaper, greener. We are an independent, technology-led green energy company. Our unique operating model provides low-cost renewable energy to UK homes and businesses. Based in the heart of London’s vibrant startup community, we’re also the first and only UK energy supplier to achieve B Corp status.

We supply all our members with 100% renewable electricity and 10% green gas. When you switch to Bulb, we make sure that for every unit of electricity you use, a unit is produced and put on the grid by a renewable source like Oak Grove Solar Farm in Monmouthshire. In addition, 10% of our gas comes from biomethane. That's gas produced from organic matter like sewage and manure - which is then reinjected onto the grid (minus the smell).

By being with Bulb, all our members are helping to protect the planet. Every year, the typical home with Bulb saves 1.3 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Delivering insight and impact through projects that grow our business and delight our members. Working with the CEO to lead the development of our expansion strategy and the implementation of key projects. Creating and maintaining cross-departmental and external relationships. Managing meetings for the board of directors and leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved. Strategically managing time, evaluating opportunities and determining fit with priorities. At Bulb we want to hire people with the experience necessary to get going quickly, but who are also interested in learning new things and are comfortable working in a changing environment. Here are some of the things we think will be valuable, but we're also open-minded.

Prepare clear, logical presentation materials, presenting timely work-in-process updates to the CEO
