Trust-wide Community Mental Health Nurse Opportunities - Band 6

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Trust are actively recruiting for Community Mental Health Nurses to join the team across various locations.

Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurses - Hertfordshire (£27,893 - £37,359 incl. 5% Fringe) plus £6000 recruitment and retention bonus, making this a very competitive package.

We are looking for experienced mental health nurses, RMN or RLDN who are already working at Band 6 or ready to take the next step in their career having developed and enriched their skill level at Band 5.

The Nurses we seek to employ hold a strong belief in recovery for people with severe and enduring mental health problems to work as a Care Coordinator. You will be an experienced mental health nurse looking for opportunities at Band 6 level. We also have opportunities that focus on early intervention in Psychosis.

This is to work as a Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in our Hertsmere Adult Community Mental Health Services based in Civic Offices in Borehamwood or if more convenient our Watford office.

As a care coordinator, you will manage your own caseload of allocated Service Users, assessing and delivering care to these people and their carers. In addition, you will form part of the Multidisciplinary Team using your skills and knowledge to enhance the delivery of care to people we are supporting, you will provide first face to face initial assessment and back up to the duty rota's providing support to people who need support in working hours, from our services.

We also have inpatient and community opportunities across Stevenage, St Albans, Radlett, Borehamwood and Watford so for further details send across your CV and we can provide further information on the position of your choice.

In return, we offer regular Supervision with a Senior Nurse, a review of your professional development in the form of an annual review with you, which is reflective of your regular supervision. We have local training and access to formal education via our learning and development service in association with the University of Hertfordshire.
