Main responsibilities;

Support Head of Purchasing across indirect purchasing activities. Liaise with stakeholders across the Group to identify purchasing efficiencies that meet the business needs and deliver savings across the indirect categories. Support negotiation with suppliers on all commercial terms. Maintain regular contact with suppliers and other stakeholders. Monitor compliance of CGS (Crockery, Glassware, Silverware) standards and agreed specs. To support new openings with budgets, planning & purchasing of CGS, kitchen & bar equipment, mini bar, linen and amenities. To put in place and lead stock management procedures. To ensure that all purchasing processes are met with sites ordering via the correct channels (FnB Shop or Adaco) and ensuring par levels are managed continually. To ensure data on FnB Shop or Adaco is correct and up to date across relevant categories. Ensure all sites have a monthly CGS, Linen and Draw stock count. Attend and oversee stock counts as and when required. Provide monthly top line reporting for finance business partners Monitor par levels against stock count and report on variances. Adopt best practices to reduce overheads and attain improved efficiencies. Liaise with Head of Purchasing and Openings Director for all future openings in relation to inventory and pre-opening orders. Work with Adaco project team to set up and maintain the system. Requirements

Objectives and Targets:

Delivery of savings against indirect categories Monitor CGS stock holding of c. £1.4m. Monthly reporting and fortnightly five key line reporting. Drive efficiencies and support regular site audits. Deliver training on best practice in CGS handling to reduce purchases Support and put forward appropriate budget and targets for future financial years. Cost savings through innovation and product management. Health and Safety

Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified. Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and BOMB procedures. Emergency procedures are rehearsed quarterly with attendance records, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees. Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises, by strict adherence to existing laws, statues and applicable ordinances, and by anticipating possible and probable hazards and conditions and either correcting them or pre-planning a defense against them. Stimulate and encourage a general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the department. Benefits
