What can I expect to do?

You will manage a set of PatSnap's most strategic and highest spending clients, focusing on driving maximum value and success within a group of 30-60 Named Accounts. You will set the global or regional strategy for the account, owning the strategic relationship and carrying a sales quota. You will identify, qualify and close new sales: - ‘New to new’ sales where there is no existing relationship with the clients

- ‘New to existing’ sales where there is an existing relationship with the client 

You will be the primary point of contact for Patsnap’s larger customers to ensure continual satisfaction with our product, service and revenue growth. You will create and maintain an account plan for each account, including expansion strategies for new and existing accounts. Why would I love this role?     

You have proven experience closing new business sales and up sells within the corporate  enterprise space.  You demonstrate solution-based and consultative  sales methodology  You have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities You have an  entrepreneurial  spirit and are excited by fast paced growth You are highly presentable, and relish the opportunity to deal with all manner of clients, in environments that others would consider challenging You have a successful track record of performance against set quota targets and KPIs for new business sales  You have experience of working with both  transactional and  consultative sales processes in a fast growth SaaS environment, closing deals of medium to high complexity. You have a commitment to collaborative working practices, with extensive experience working across functions and geographies, including marketing, product and Customer Success. You bring gravitas to commercial relationships, demonstrating natural leadership tendencies. What are the challenges?

As with any role within a fast-growing SaaS business you have to be able to flex to changing business priorities, so if you are adaptable and embrace change then you will thrive in this environment.  Our structure is relatively flat and non-hierarchical and egos don't fly here so no job is too big or too small, we all get stuck in to make the business successful, so you’d better get ready to roll up your sleeves!  Expansion is a major theme. We face new situations and market opportunities which we've not encountered previously. There isn’t always someone's footsteps to follow so you will need to be able to work as a pioneer, carving the path and sharing your learnings with your colleagues. What's in it for me?
