We are currently looking for a credit controller to manage cash collection and product invoicing for the entire group. The Management Team is focussed on the continued expansion of the group and positioning the Group as the leading niche travel operator. It is imperative the Credit Controller is comfortable working in a very fast paced environment, and delivering accurate and effective information to tight deadlines.

The Role

The role will report into the Group Finance Manager but work very closely with Customer Services, Sales and Product functions to resolve payment issues efficiently. This will be a very hands-on role and will also involve providing continuous improvement with regards to enhancing existing processes for the department.


Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the Group Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness Ensure that all customer transactions in the booking system are compliant with our terms and conditions Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management Undertake account reconciliations as required Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required Send out daily and weekly debtor reports Manage the product invoicing and payment process with Venues and other suppliers Other duties as delegated from time to time by the CFO or Finance Manager and assist with Research and Development tax reclaim Requirements

Intermediate Excel user (Vlookups, Sumif, Pivot etc.) 2+ years credit control experience Ability to prioritise workloads with minimal supervision Strong communication skills Highly numerate Excellent attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines Self-starter Pro-active approach Benefits
