About the internship

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing tech start up that is transforming the retail space. We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Intern to join our team over the summer. You will be scoping exciting retail brands, qualifying opportunities, generating leads, connecting with relevant stakeholders and setting up suitable meetings for the Sales Directors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn.

What you’ll be doing

Prospecting and generating leads with exciting retail brands You will become an app commerce expert Qualifying opportunities and handling objections Responding to and qualifying inbound leads Producing substantial outbound activity via phone, email and LinkedIn Setting up new meetings for the Sales Directors Consistently achieving and exceeding targets Attending industry events to promote Poq’s app commerce platform Learning, leveraging and helping evolve our lead generation process Hours: 9am-6pm (with an early finish on a Friday including team drinks) This will be summer internship running from May-July 2019 ; we can be flexible on dates Requirements

What we’re looking for

German or Italian native language skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written An interest in ecommerce & the retail space The Desirables

Previous sales experience in a B2B capacity Experience prospecting C-level stakeholders via phone, email, LinkedIn Benefits
