About the Role

The Agile Delivery Manager will lead the delivery of software projects targeting the web platform across all of our travel brands. They will work closely with software development teams and stakeholders across the business. Reporting to our Lead Agile Delivery Manager, you will be integral to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of multiple software projects, primarily targeting the webTake responsibility for the full development lifecycle Liaise with product owners and software developers to ensure the right product is delivered within a reasonable time Report on the status of projects throughout the software development organisation for heads of department and the company’s board Demonstrate a deep understanding of our business and systems, guiding their evolution and long-term health Responsible for building a trusting and vibrant environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or judgement, placing emphasis on conflict resolution, problem solving, and continuous improvement Facilitate events within the rhythm of the team including stand ups, retrospectives, reviews and planning meetings Improve team dynamics and performance and help manage conflicts, escalating people problems to management where necessary Requirements

Significant experience working with an agile software development team working on web-based software Excellent understanding of the mechanics and rhythm of delivery in a product-focused organisation Problem solving ability The ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies Strong writing skills to ensure written communication is clear, concise and suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences Experience working on B2C e-commerce websites is desirable, but not essential Experience working with a remote-first team is desirable, but not essential A deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle including multiple delivery methodologies with the ability to mentor, motivate and shape high performing teams Agile experience Extensive experience in liaising with stakeholders and delivering successful change initiatives Proven experience of delivery, especially mobile & web platforms An enthusiastic interest in modern development practice, tooling, technology and techniques Benefits
