General description:

Responsible for the development of clinical trials’ strategies, working closely with therapeutic, regulatory and delivery teams.

Essential job functions:

Work independently on the collection, analysis and presentation of evidence-based clinical trial informatics data within the centres of excellence for pre-award internal assessments and all stages of the study bidding process Recruitment rate & enrollment data verification, and country & site distribution development, contributing towards proposal and bid defense presentations and/or independent feasibility assessments Development of proposal text to present the study strategy rationale and make recommendations on strategic patient recruitment delivery plan Research scientific literature to provide background information and support the study strategy and the clients’ development pipeline Conduct independent standalone site outreach assessments as required Interact with site, clients, vendors and other functional areas as secondary project contact Manage time and project requirements based on study contract Develop together with the study team recommendations on recruitment timelines, country and site selection, and compile the informatics data into a report based output Work closely with the regulatory, medical, operational and proposal teams to build the study strategies for TFS clients Drive informatics processes improvements and the progression and development of other analysts Develop and maintain internal databases to capture and store metrics based informatics data for historical reference Identify patient pathways in different geographical and therapeutic settings to support the proposal project delivery Use computer-based models to project realistic patient recruitment over time, based on study design, study strategy, client preferences, TFS experts’ input and informatics data Requirements

Undergraduate degree in a clinical, biological, scientific, or health-related field Postgraduate degree (MSc, MPhil or PhD) in a clinical, biological, scientific, or health-related field Clinical trials support or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred High competency in data analysis skills and ability to use complex models built within Excel Fluency in verbal and written English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge on a broad range of therapeutic areas Ability to work independently and efficiently Good planning, organization and problem solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong and effective presentation skills; ability to convincingly present features and benefits of service to clients Travel according to the needs of the business development strategy and to travel to company meetings as required Benefits
