Permit to Work Issuer- Permanent - up to £37,500 - North London

A leading Manufacturing organisation are looking for a Permit to Work Issuer to join their manufacturing facility in the North London area working on a permanent basis.

The Permit to Work Issuer will sit within the Engineering team and will be responsible for writing and issuing permits in conjunction with a specific and will support in the auditing and monitoring of permits issued within this is area.

As a Permit to Work Issuer you will b bale to demonstrate the ability to write and issue permits for all work conditions including but not limited to hot works, working at height and confined spaces. You will have a deep under-pinning knowledge of your assigned area and pf the Permit to Work process through developed and demonstrated competency.

You will support the guidance and advice to others writing permits and issuing permits across the site as well supor the contractor and Permit to Work Coordinating in managing, monitoring and validating permits across the manufacturing facility. The Permit to Work Issuer will feedback on EHS on permit issuing and will work closely with Department Managers, Site Services, Project Engineers and Maintenance staff to ensure all procedures are followed correctly.

To be considered for this role you will have a worked within a chemical manufacturing facility and have knowledge of Permit to Work systems and controls of works. Experience of engineering software would be advantageous along with some knowledge of Permits to Work. Ideally you will have been involved in H&S with a strong focus on Safety.
