£17,080 per annum

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Retail Manager you will organise the day to day running of the shop, ensuring all rules and procedures are followed. You will achieve set targets and KPIs and deliver excellent customer service. This is a lone worker role although there will be managerial support.

Understanding and implementing laws relating to Alcohol and tobacco. Ability to deal with difficult situations Communicating any problems to the Retail Manager Delivering excellent levels of customer service to members. Carry out stock checks if required Identifying any health and safety issues that arise when on shift Responsible for all shop floor till operations including change and cashing up. Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of rented equipment such as the coffee machine. Responsible for shop cleanliness and stock levels. Deal with complaints in the correct manor ensuring all negatives become positives. Engage with members Understand and help deliver first class NPS results. Requirements

Retail Experience

Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Experience of merchandising

Experience of Cash Handling and reconciliations

The ability to motivate and develop staff teams

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Excellent interpersonal skills

Understanding of health and safety requirements

Qualified in food hygiene

Ability to deliver excellent customer service and recognise the changing requirements of the membership and customers

Experience in controlling a team

Experience in food hygiene

Experience in the convenience sector.

Experience of supporting and motivating a team

Ability to deliver an excellent customer service to a wide range of members.
