An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join as eCommerce New Business Development Manager; reporting directly to the Sales Director. This role will lead the strategy to grow exponentially with our pureplay eCommerce accounts (Amazon & Ocado) and act as the eCommerce champion within Laundry and Homecare whilst upskilling the wider business.

eCommerce Business Development Manager key responsibilities:

Set, lead and implement the eCommerce strategyDeliver against budget and IP net sales and profitability targets.Work closely with Trade Marketing to guide pureplay accounts media, content, merchandising and assortment strategy to achieve ‘Shelf Excellence’Drawing best practice from the global Henkel network to the benefit of the UK executionBecome an ‘expert’ of the categories in which we operate, able to identify appropriate opportunities for new business and be able to sell Henkel Laundry and Homecare to new customersTo leverage insight from other business units, countries and your own analysis to identify new channel opportunities.Exceed expectations and make things happen, ensuring we outperform the market and customer growthThe ideal eCommerce Business Development Manager:

To be considered for this position, you will ideally need to have following:

Demonstrable success in eCommerce National Account Management or Direct to consumer eCommerce role – Amazon experience requiredIn depth understanding of the online customer journey for pureplayersUnderstanding of how to maximise the Amazon opportunity and drive channel profitability for HenkelA strategic thinker, with strengths in planning and forecastingAbility to influence at all levels and effectively educate on eCommerceFully experienced in all aspects of P&L management.Prior experience working with tracking agencies such as BrandView, Clavis, ChannelAdvisor, Profitero.If you are looking for your next challenge as our eCommerce Business Development Manager, then we want to hear from you, please click APPLY!
