About the role

We’re looking for a behavioural analyst with a flair for writing and research, but we’re not prescriptive about what that means. From psychologists to journalists to behavioural economists, our team don’t fit in a box – what unites them is a desire to understand people. We call them behavioural analysts.

More gonzo than academic, our work is about investigating the hidden details in everyday life and turning them into insights that delight and intrigue our clients. The research is incredibly varied. One day you might be interviewing a scientist about the psychology of boredom, the next you might be researching why teenagers wear make-up.

As part of the behavioural analyst team, you’ll be researching cultural, social and technological shifts as well as changes in industry. You’ll need to be street smart and willing to get your hands dirty – recruiting, interviewing, moderating, analysing culture, pouring over data, and writing under tight deadlines. You’ll enjoy learning about the world of consumer trends, and cultural analysis, and have a blend of quantitative and qualitative skills. You’ll need to excel at problem solving, have emotional intelligence, and be a superb writer.

Working across editorial and consultancy projects you will be responsible for:

Researching consumer trends Writing engaging reports and innovative case studies Analysing qual and quant research to identify killer insights Telling stories through data and captivating prose Survey design and research design Face-to-face investigations and interviews Presenting new trends and ideas Requirements

You’ll be a lateral thinker with an eye for spotting patterns and cultural shifts across multiple industries. Articulate and confident, you will have engaging written skills and a broad grasp of research processes and cultural trends. You'll be a curious and thorough researcher, and excel at presenting your findings through clear and engaging copy. You’ll have the entrepreneurial flair, resourcefulness and initiative required to work both quickly and accurately within our ambitious team and a willingness to get stuck in.
