Tape London - one the most exclusive nightclubs in London is looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM)

The AGM will need to coordinate the operational activities of the club. Supporting the General Manager in ensuring structure and process is maintained.

This includes overseeing all aspects of operational activity at Tape London to ensure daily operations and services rendered align with the vision and objectives of the company. The AGM promotes the goals of the company on a daily basis while optimizing and improving the profitability, liquidity and growth of the company.

The AGM is required to represent the company’s overall business strategies and interests.


Duties and responsibilities

Participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing and coordinating all divisional activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives. Oversees all operational activities whilst the nightclub is open Reviews (periodically) analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Confers with the General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Executive Officer and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. Also confers with General Manager of Tape Club, Tape Studio to ensure that operations are properly streamlined and activities of one business doesn’t adversely affect the other(s) Develops, reviews, updates and implements business strategic planning, including sales, financial performance and new product development. Oversees (daily) operations and service delivery departments Reviews production and operating reports and resolve operational, and facility problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth. Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis. Coordinates sales and marketing efforts for new or existing products or improvement to provide cost reduction, safety, customer requirements and market growth. 9. Reviews operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to ascertain in-house provisioning or outsourcing requirements to develop new markets.

10. Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures; take responsibility for profitability, liquidity and growth of the division.

11. Approve expenditures and procurement requests; effect payments for items within divisional spend limits and refer major procurements to CFO for treatment

12. Sets the rates and pricing mechanism for services rendered

13. Hires, trains, assesses and fires staff and direct reports

14. Attends meetings, training, seminars and conferences.

15. Coordinates the generation of any report requested by customer; maintains top quality assurance and customer service standards.

16. Leads the generation and reconciliation of invoices and billings to customers

Leads in marketing and public relations for the company18. Makes business travels as required

19. Takes responsibility for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.20. Maintains a positive outlook and attitude about the organization and its goals, since this will directly translate to how the staff takes on challenges and processes changes
