As the Brand Content & Copywriting Officer you will be at the heart of Kurt Geiger’s content strategy. This is a new position combining copywriting with content and creative production. The Brand Content & Copywriting Officer will play a critical role in bringing Kurt Geiger to life, talking to our customers in an exciting, relevant and consistent way by creating stories with genuine cut-through on both a domestic and international scale through owned and partner channels.

This role is perfect for a creative, dynamic, bright individual who has a way with words and a creative eye. You will work very closely with the Brand Communications Manager to deliver content that adds value to the brand and most importantly excites and engages our customer. The perfect candidate for this role has editorial experience and is someone who plays scrabble so imaginatively, their fellow gamers have to check the dictionary.

The role:

Write, edit and oversee copy across all branded content both online and offline. Whether this is to promote new marketing campaigns, raise awareness of a service proposition or demonstrate fashion authority around trends and product stories, it must be engaging, authentic and compelling. Be the absolute guardian for Kurt Geiger’s tone of voiceKeep brand guidelines, including tone of voice and style guide documents up-to-date to ensure that all customer and industry facing content is up-to-date and consistent Produce and maintain a brand glossary ensuring it is SEO relevant and ensure clear differentiation for each own brand (Carvela, KG, KGL, Miss KG) Work with the Brand Communications manager to develop a creative yet commercial content plan for Kurt Geiger, contributing copy and creative ideas for executionBalance the need to be brand proud, product proud and commercially viable Build lasting relationships with product teams to understand and translate design inspiration, trends and product stories into compelling, customer-facing content for use digitally, socially or in-storeThrough written content demonstrate brand authority, inspire followers and engage customers captivate audience Work closely with creative design teams and take a hands on approach to creative direction to amplify stories and drive customer engagement Work with digital and social teams to outline brand stories and sentiments and ensure they are expressed appropriately across all channels with a consistent tone of voice Develop close relationship with digital marketing and social marketing teams to understand which copy and creative has worked well for engagement, sales etc. and build these learns into future work, constantly optimising output Wake up on the same day as the customer! Ensure all brand and product stories are customer-centric driving engagement and consideration and differentiating Kurt Geiger from the competition Key deliverable: Craft an engaging, accessible and clear brand tone of voice. Document this in a TOV document to ensure consistent ‘voice’ of Kurt Geiger both internally and across all brand channels. Requirements

Skills and profile:
