Exciting opportunity to join the accounting team focused on the preparation and analysis of

financial reporting for the Data & Property Services division of ZPG Plc.

In anticipation of further growth and expansion of the group, ZPG is looking to build a world-

class accounting team to manage the accounts of the Data & Property Services Division which

generates c. £100m pa. The role will be part of a growing finance team that will evolve over the

coming years as the group expands and comes with opportunities to develop and be exposed

to other areas of the finance team in the future.

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for

providing a robust credit control service for the Data & Property Services companies. This is a

key role and will require interaction with customers, other Finance team members and

customer service teams.

Key responsibilities

Daily collection activities and maintenance of the sales ledger/s Point of contact for all internal and external billing queries Liaise with all members of the sales team to resolve customer queries Chasing outstanding & overdue debt Working pro-actively to ensure accounts do not become overdue All written communication and processes actioned to agreed timescales Meet targets set Taking payments by debit or credit card Reconciling customer accounts Raising credit notes/invoices Daily receipting activities Producing the end to end process of direct debit collection duties including: setting new instructions up, following up on failed direct debit’s, following instructions that are cancelled, producing the collection files Setting up of new customers on to the accounting platform and maintaining the data Assist with administration tasks and any ad-hoc tasks that are required Requirements

Excellent communication skills via telephone and in writing Good level of numeracy Excellent customer service Strong attention to detail Proven ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines Ability to work under pressure Team player with good interpersonal skills Self-Motivated with a positive and pro-active attitude Work on own initiative Well organised Benefits
