Description:
The creative assistant will work to assist the Art Director, and work alongside the Design Director. The creative assistant will play an integral part in the Creative team and assist on creative projects involving campaign shoots, still shoots and video shoots.

You will report into the Art Director, working in collaboration in order to both create imagery, and also work with pre-existing imagery to ensure its used creatively and effectively across print and digital channels. This will involve working on research and developing shoot concepts alongside the Art Director, art directing on smaller scale shoots independently, and assisting in post-production including overseeing retouching and image selection and crops, as well as video content and digital content.

Assist art director in researching trends, photographers, set and general concepting for shoots Creating shoot direction for smaller scale model and still life shoots that align with the existing Charlotte Tilbury aesthetics Working with the Art Director on image selection and overseeing retouching of shoot imagery Working with the Art Director on shoot preparation, presentations and post-production Work alongside graphic and digital designers within the marketing team to ensure creative concepts are aligned across all media Working along digital, e-com, VM teams to ensure all assets are aligned with other departments Assisting on casting for shoots Requirements

Intimate understanding of Charlotte’s creative vision and aesthetic Keen eye for trends, finger on the pulse of the beauty industry Creative eye and attention to detail, with a point of reference for the industry Understanding of beauty and makeup Have a practical understanding of layout and asset quality Understand the work of other departments, such as digital, marketing, sales, and know how asset timings impact their work Be able to conceptualise ideas, think visually and have a methodical approach to work Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign and photoshop Ability to take direction and to work as part of a team Good communication and people skills Strong visual Skills and Interest in the Visual Arts Motivated, with a positive attitude.
