Construction Assistant/Administrator

This is one of my favourite roles to date its a great opportunity for someone who loves to learn, is interested in Construction, organising and administration and basically being the right hand to a Company Director. Not many roles come along that are so varied and fun!

You may already be working in Construction or want to - you may have document controller experience and want to progress or just want a new challenge!

My Client is looking for a Construction Assistant, experience not essential as training will be given. You just need to be proactive, super organised and willing to take on anything. They manufacture and install high quality innovative commercial construction projects so an interest in this field is preferable.

Key Responsibilities and Person Specifications: They are looking for a talented individual to join the existing friendly and professional team. The role holder will be reporting into the Managing Director. The role holder will be responsible for general admin support to the 4 contracts managers, but acting as a document controller is a key part of this role.

Training can be provided and individual will be trained to be a Document Controller among other skills.

Excellent communication skills and comfortable dealing with everyone on site from Directors to subcontractors.

Great organisation and IT skills

Opportunity to work on a number of high value projects that they are working on across prestigious sites in the City, Docklands and West End.

This is a busy role, where multi-tasking and thinking on your feet will be critical. Strong attention to detail and a tenacious approach to follow up are required for success in this role. Role holder will need strong communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships in this tight knit family feel office.

Person Specification: Person should have administration construction experience, ideally document controlling experience. Strong organisational and administration skills are essential, good communication skills and the ability to multitask are key to being successful in this role.

Hours of work: 8am-5pm

Rate & Benefits: up to £24K The rate for this role is dependent on experience and skills set range.

Private medical care - company paid

20 days holiday rising by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days
