Description:
iland is looking for an experienced sales leader to manage our Inside Sales and Account Management teams out of our London headquarters. The Commercial Sales Manager will drive revenue by selling direct to new customer logos, cross selling to existing customers, and working the indirect channel with key partners. Candidates will have at least five years of past experience in B2B sales of cloud infrastructure, IT Services, Managed Services, SaaS, or virtualization software as well as at least 3 years of proven leadership and management abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow the U.K.-based Inside Sales and Account Management teams. Ensure team members manage their opportunity pipeline and focused on hitting their quota targets. Provide ongoing training to team members. Ensure team is performing their duties and meeting, or preferably exceeding, expectations. Maintain and enhance the strong alignment with key vendor partner teams (Veeam, Zerto, VMware, HPE). Drive revenue by aligning ISR and AM's with channel partners, and helping partners manage their pipelines and close new business. Inside Sales Representative duties to include: selling iland’s suite of cloud services to incoming new logo opportunities, meeting required activity levels, developing new sales opportunities and driving brand awareness, continually building pipeline leveraging marketing leads, sales tools, and individual hunting Account Management duties to include: developing a strong bond with accounts within assigned territory, handling all escalations or billing issues, ensuring frequent contact with customer base, providing quotes and processing upgrades, tracking expiring accounts and renewals Ensure quality of data team is entering into CRM system, including gathering all necessary information to process orders, including POs and contract information Act as overlay for managing sales pipelines to ensure the highest team close rate All other duties as assigned Requirements

Must be able to work out of the London office daily Experience selling cloud hosting, Disaster recovery, cloud backup, VMware, or other virtualization software University degree required 5+ years of sales and account management experience in IT software or services 2+ years of leadership and/or management experience Strong communication and organizational skills experience Ideal candidate is a proven leader with a track record of success in past roles Must be dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; customer service skills are key Benefits
