About the role:

We are looking for a hybrid UX Designer with visual design skills to design software and platforms that meet people’s needs. Our UXD team is small and very autonomous. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems.

A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential. Please highlight the work you are personally responsible for.

Ultimately, you will work with our clients to create user friendly, visually appealing interfaces that will give them competitive edge in the FS domains in which we operate.

Please note that this role is entirely based on client site (London based, mostly Canary Wharf or City) or working from our office in Victoria.


This is a 360 role and it is expected that you will be responsible for UI design, creating production ready assets, working with development team and using component libraries Understand product specifications and user psychology Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback Create enterprise solutions through user research and data Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success Develop wireframes and prototypes around user needs Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends Requirements

Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role in a software development consultancy. You must have experience collaborating with experienced front end software developers to produce visual assets for high profile software solutions. Strong portfolio of design projects Background in project management and research Experience of working with clients in the financial services sector Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture Proficient in design software (e.g. Sketch, Adobe CC, Axure RP) Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus Problem-solving aptitude Analytical mind with a business acumen Excellent communication skills BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/relevant work experience Selection process: Candidates will undergo an initial phone screen followed by up to two face to face meetings with peers and hiring managers at our offices in Victoria. Please note it will include a design exercise at F2F where we would you to demonstrate your capability in this area.
